1st Photo Shoot
Today Rawley had his first photo shoot with Kim Mitchell at Highlights Photography! It took 2 hours and we were only peed on 3 times!!! I know it could have been worse, so I'm thankful! I have to take another shower, Kim has to wash all the fabric in her studio, but we are happy now and that's all the matters:) I can't wait to see all the photos in the next week.
Family Shower!
Thanks to all my family who came and met Rawley at the baby shower. We are so grateful for you and your support to get him home. It was a really fun day with all of you and was so special for us to celebrate together. ♥♥♥THANK YOU!♥♥♥
Special thanks to my mom and cousins who prepared food and salads, set up, decorated, and spent your time and money to make it so nice.

He enjoyed his bassinet and slept so good:) Great Grandma Betty and Grandpa Roy love him too!
He loves his new room and all his friends and family that are coming to visit!

Rawley Cortez Levi is officially ours!
6:43pm Saturday July 16th, 2011 ---Leslie called and said, "it's official, he's your baby"! What a self-less amazingly strong woman she is! We are so happy and so very blessed!
Very tough day.....
The 72 hour legal waiting period was up at 2:06 today and we are still waiting. This has been a very long and hard day. We are praying for peace and God's will to be done.

Our Baby Boy was born!!!
At 2:06pm Baby Levi was born in Jackson Mississippi! He is 6lbs. 2 oz and healthy! We are on our way there tonight and can't wait to meet this precious gift from God! If I could fly I would be there right now—please pray for him and Leslie! We will be traveling all night, which is fine because there is no way we could sleep!!!

"Waiting".....exerpt from Dr. Seuss's book Oh! The Places You’ll Go!
Today Leslie is 37 weeks! That is a miracle, because she has never carried a baby this long! This means that she is now considered full-term and when she goes back in to labor AGAIN, they will let her go and we'll get that phone call! Until then it's just waiting, waiting, waiting. Waiting is not fun and we are trying to stay busy so that it doesn't make us crazy.
The Dr. Seuss book Oh! The Places You’ll Go! reminds me of where we are at right now and how frustrating this part of the process is. This is a cute book and this part of the book explains how we are feeling!
The Waiting Place…for people just waiting.
Waiting for a train to go or a bus to come, or a plane to go or the mail to come, or the rain to go or the phone to ring, or the snow to snow or waiting around for a Yes or No or waiting for their hair to grow. Everyone is just waiting.
Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite or waiting around for Friday night or waiting, perhaps, for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil, or a Better Break or a string of pearls, or a pair of pants or a wig with curls, or Another Chance. Everyone is just waiting.
No! That’s not for you!
Somehow you’ll escape all that waiting and staying. You’ll find the bright places where Boom Bands are playing. With banner flip-flapping, once more you’ll ride high! Ready for anything under the sky. Ready because you’re that kind of a guy!
Oh, the places you’ll go!

36 weeks 2 days!
Leslie has reached the "safe zone" for the baby! She will be considered full term at 37 weeks, which is this Thurs. That is awesome and a result of answered prayers! Thanks for praying! We are hoping for a call any day!
