Profiles and Applications

Currently we are waiting to pick up our Home Study from our agency in Boise. As soon as we hear from them we will mail these 5 packets out to various locations. Each packet includes the agency application, 2-3 copies of our family profile, and our Home Study (when we get it). Paperwork starting from left to right we have: Utah, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and Georgia. There are a couple more agencies that we are still considering also. I wonder what state our baby is in right now.

So today I finally did it. People are giving me Babies R Us coupons and after today they were going to expire. Our caseworker said that we need to have a bag packed and the car seat ready. So, after researching the various prices between Wal-Mart/Target/ Babies R Us, and my coupon options, it turned out that Babies R Us was a decent deal with my coupon. Car Seat—Check! No more purchases until we get a phone call;)

Here we go.......!!!!

Here we go! This has been an amazing journey so far and its only the beginning!  Tonight we had our last meeting with our caseworker for our adoption home study!!!  This was our 3rd 2 hour meeting and we officially signed off on the report and are ready for it to be finalized.  We should hear back early next week, pick it up, and then we can send it to all the adoption agencies!  We are all so excited and we can't really imagine what's in store for us.  Our baby is probably in it's birth mom's belly right now and we just have to wait out their arrival!  Boy or Girl? Race? Name? There are so many ? ?  We just have to pray and let God do the rest:)  Thank God for God, He is big enough to handle these details!  We know He has the perfect baby for us.
