Rawley at 6 weeks!

It's been a very busy 6 weeks and Rawley has been busy growing bigger and bigger!  He's getting more and more personality and we are starting to hear him coo!

We are enjoying him so much and are so thankful for all the support and love that our friends and family have extended to us!  We are so grateful and we think his birth mom Leslie would be very pleased with how much he's loved!

He likes to scratch his face, so we found that socks can help so he doesn't hurt himself.

Carlos started highschool!!!

Carlos is officially in HIGH SCHOOL!  I'm still in shock!  He is such an amazing boy.  I am excited to see him grow and learn over the next 4 years a NHS.  Carlos will be a Nampa High graduate in 2015!  His uncle Carlos, grandpa Charlie, and all the Cortez uncles are NHS Alumni.  Its a fun school, and I love teaching there. It's so nice that I get to have him where I can keep tabs on the teen years.  I want to enjoy every minute of this time with him because before I know it he will be going to college:( sad and happy thoughts:)

"Grammy" Isabel Eiguren

A lot has happened this month already......My Grammy Isabel Eiguren passed away.  She was a very funny and amazing woman who lived a great life and blessed all of us who knew her.  Over the last few years her mind was failing but she stayed physically strong up until her last day.  I copied her obituary below.

To California and Back! .......Sorry It's been a while:)

After being home with Rawley for 11 days, we had to take off to Irvine, CA for Carlos' Little League Regional Tournament.  It was Rawley's 2nd trip in less than 1 month of life!!!  He was such a great baby on the plane, people were wondering if he was even real.

It was an amazing experience for Carlos and his baseball buddies.  I'm so glad we all went and have those memories.

The team won 5 games and lost 2, which included the championship.  It was amazing!  They competed with the best in the Northwest and our Nampa Valley Little League team took 2nd overall!

You can see lots of awesome baseball pics on Facebook at "2011 Idaho State Champions Nampa Valley Little League"

Rawley's Nanny Faith Peltzer!  She took such good care of him all week!
Everyone wanted to hold Rawley at the baseball games!
Carlos and his friend Jonathan Antunez--they played ball at Vallivue for 5 years and Jeremy coached them too!  Jonathan lives in Santa Ana and came to see Carlos play:)
