Call this morning!

This morning we got a call that Leslie was in the hospital with contractions.  Our case manager told us to check out flights in case they keep her there to have the baby.  Same day flights are not cheap, but we found one leaving tonight and arriving there at 8:32am tomorrow.

We had to wait to see if they were going to keep her or send her home.About noon we got another call saying that they stopped her contractions and sent her home.  I want the baby here so bad, but I want him to be healthy so much more.  So, we will wait for the next call.  If she makes it to 36 weeks, they will likely not stop her labor and we will be on our way to MS!  So excited and a little nervous.

Please pray for her and the baby to be healthy.  Please pray for her to have peace with this decision and for us to be ready!
Thanks!♥
Thank you Carol for the beautiful baby blanket!  It is awesome, we love it!

Paperwork and Preparation

We got some paperwork from the agency to complete. Also, some helpful information for us to know what to bring for the baby and the do's and don'ts of dealing with the sensitivity and feelings that everyone will probably experience before, during, and after the birth. I'm curious how Leslie's doctor appointment went today. I hope she is doing well and the baby is growing stronger and stronger every day.

Thank you to Chelsea and Rebecca for the cute little tiny onesies that will get me through the first little bit. I washed them and they are in the drawer. Feels good to have something in the drawer, just in case it happens so fast and I don't have to go out and buy all new stuff right away. It's all coming together in God's perfect time.

Rollercoaster of Adoption!

Yesterday we were presented with a new situation about a baby girl also in Tennessee. We agreed to have that birth mom view our profile and move forward. We started to think about how a baby girl would fit into our life and all the cute clothes they have for them!!! Jeremy was a little concerned about that partJ so today; we are waiting to hear more about this situation from our caseworker.

Then, our caseworker calls and says that she was about to send our profile to that birth mom and the other caseworker from our last failed adoption has already sent our profile to anther birth mom, without us knowing, just to see what she thought. Well, apparently she liked what she sawJ. She is due to have a baby boy at the end of July! So….. We had a decision to make. Go with what we thought we were going with (girl) or with the new mom who liked our profile (boy). Jeremy and I would like to have both, please! But that is not an option or financially possible.

So, we prayed together and then just waited for an answer. We felt very torn to have to decide. At 3:45pm we got in the car and took off to run an errand and we both just said to each other, that this mom saw us and chose us, in the nick of time. We believe that is for a reason and we can't refuse that! We called our case manager and told her "We are IN"! She said that's great and she would set up a call with her soon. So…. At 6:00pm we got a call from our case manager, had a conference call with this beautiful mom and we are all IN! She is beautiful and happy and wants us there for the delivery to "cut the cord"! What an amazing and awesome, miraculous gift she is giving us.

URGENT Prayer Request! The baby is not due until the end of July and she has already started to go into labor. She is supposed to be on bed rest but she is still contracting. The baby needs to stay in a couple more weeks! Please pray for this little guy to be healthy and strong! Please pray for her and for us to be able to get there in time for the birth. Airline tickets are expensive, but God is faithful and He provides!

PRAISE! –We have already been offered a home to stay in while we are there if we need to! Thank you Nikki and Krista and family! God provides, thanks for letting him use youJ
